Thousands of cartons of Vanilla Almond Breeze are under recall for containing undeclared milk. I don’t care what you think about vegans, nondairy milk, whatever…
This could kill people if word doesn’t get out fast enough.

Please share this. Dairy allergies can be fatal and many people with them choose to drink almond milk.
I was wondering if the way Steven and the Diamonds temporarely cured Centi reflected something about the individual Diamond, like maybe:
Yellow is Body. She cured Centi’s physical form, but her behavior was still animal-like.
Blue is Mind. She reverted Centi’s mind back to that of a person, to the moment before the corruption ocurred, but she seemed still “trapped” in that particular moment emotionally.
Steven is Heart / Emotions. He helped stabilize Centi emotionally so that she would calm down and become aware of the present again.
And, theorically, White would be able to make the change permanent. I’m not sure what that would mean about her? Maybe White would represent Essence? Soul?
The soul does seem to line up with her Pearl being empty, like she’s without soul
You’re right, if she has power over the “soul” that may mean in a positive and negative way.
Like Yellow, she can cure the physical form of a Gem but also she can destroy it (her power is that energy ray that destibilize the physical form of a gem and poof it).
Maybe White can cure the soul and also destroyed it/take it away?
AND THEN WHEN THE THREE DIAMONDS ATTACKED THEY DESTROYED THE MIND AND BODY AND SOUL BUT NOT THE HEART OF THE CORRUPTED GEMS, THATS WHY THEY ARENT GONE
The Heart of the Crystal Gems.
Steven’s kiss didn’t just help her emotionally, it also brought back her memories and while she couldn’t communicate well, she was perfectly capable of rational and sentient thought after the kiss. So Steven clearly can help the mind to an extent. I’d say blue’s more helpful with communication and expressing those thoughts, so I’d say blue and pink should probably be switched.
I’m just super fucking bitter that once the flint water crisis got it’s 15 minutes of fame people stopped giving a shit. The water is still poisoned, people! Donations have plummeted and people have been forced back into drinking and bathing with the water! The medical effects of this are astounding, cases of legionnaires disease have skyrocketed, people are having seizures, people are having weird rashes break out over their body, people (including me!) are having their blood poisoned, and it’s not just lead! it’s coliform bacteria! it’s THMs! it’s all in the water and it gets into the bloodstream and breaks down blood vessels, causing bruising and petechiae and internal bleeding and no one gives a shit anymore and it’s only gotten worse like how many people are going to have to die until people realize this is still a problem
I would like to add that the people of Flint cannot sell their houses, because selling a house with leaded water is illegal. Additionally, households with children can’t stop paying for the water because living in a house without running water is cause for CPS to take their kids. Flint has been living this way for over two years.
Did she for real say that Slytherins were all supposed to be racists? Because man, I don’t think I read the same books that she wrote.
I think at one point she said that no Slytherins took part in the Battle for Hogwarts because they didn’t want to be fighting family, implying that every single family with a Slytherin child was somehow connected directly to Voldemort and therefore his racist ideology.
IIRC, she also said that some Slytherins did come back with the reinforcements.
But I really don’t think it’s surprising. One of the things we know about the founder of the House is that he was very much into pureblood supremacy. I’m not surprised that the house selected (and then passed onto the Sorting Hat) for kids from families with similar views (along with things like ambition, cunning, disregard for rules, etc.)
This whole “trust Tumblr blindly” thing is eventually going to kill someone, as I became pointedly aware of on one occasion I was making fun of how poorly a particular bleach-based drain declogger was working on my sink and got a chorus of really dangerously misinformed people telling me to pour vinegar in after it because all cute little cool kid diy home care blogs they’re following talk about vinegar like it it’s the big secret the cleaning companies don’t want you to know.
And I cringed knowing that someday, some Well Actually expert who read a blog article once is going to give that advice to someone who unfortunately didn’t take high school chemistry and isn’t aware that MIXING VINEGAR AND BLEACH MAKES CHLORINE GAS.
holy fucking jesus tits reblog to save a life
OK I actually got a full on A* for GCSE Chemistry and if I ever knew this I’ve forgotten it. Seriously reblog this.
Also don’t use bleach to clean up if your cat pees outside the littlerbox (or urine in general for that matter, species doesn’t really matter here I think). I did that in a small space and it took me a bit of coughing and wheezing and wanting to tear my eyes out before I went, “wait, fuck, I just gassed myself”.
Be aware of the chemicals you are using even if they are natural cleaners.
“The National Rifle Association (NRA) has said it’s suffering from substantial financial issues that could cause the organisation to “be unable to exist”.
In a recent court filing, the powerful organisation that lobbies on behalf of gun makers, owners and campaigns against almost all gun regulations, said it had lost its media insurance coverage due to an aggressive campaign brought on by New York’s Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo. The campaign encouraged companies to cut ties with the gun lobbying group. A lack of liability insurance threatens to shut down the group’s multi-million dollar media entities, including NRATV, its own streaming channel.“
#HappyFriday
Considering the money they’re getting from gun companies to advertise their stuff and the money they get from the Russians “foreign gun rights advocates“, I’m highly suspicious of these claims.
I think that they’re trying to scam their members out of money, or doing it to avoid paying tax or something.
There you go.
Well more importantly, it’s part of a lawsuit. The specific lawsuit they filed requires them to prove tangible financial harm as a direct result of the actions the state took that the NRA is suing them for.
Basically, if you download the app and use a coupon, you can get a free medium fries once every Friday, as long as you buy at least $1 worth of other stuff.
IIRC, their drinks are $1, so that’s a drink and fries for $1. They also have a dollar menu. I’m sure this will help out a lot of folks.
As an emergency veterinarian, I see a ton of painful doggies. And you know what else I see? Tons and tons of people giving their dog a random dose of ibuprofen/advil or aspirin or Tylenol just because that’s what they had and they thought this was best.
Guys, ibuprofen is extremely toxic to dogs. DO NOT GIVE YOUR DOG IBUPROFEN/ADVIL! It can readily cause gastric ulcers and even kidney damage. Also, now that you gave that medication, even if it isn’t a toxic dose, I can’t give safer NSAIDs for several days, so now pain relief from NSAIDs has to be delayed. Doggie NSAIDs (Rimadyl, Deramaxx, Pevicox, etc), are specifically made for dogs in mind and are way safer. Please don’t assume if you can take it then Fido can take it. Please call and take your dog to a vet to get the safer medication it needs!
Love how no one gives a flying shit about California fires but HEY REBLOG MY GREECE POSTS. Bitch I have family in one of the bad fires, so I ain’t doing anymore reblogging. I did my share, now you do yours.
The problem with what happened in Greece is that people were burnt alive because no one would tell them to evacuate. Some of them died while jumping off of clifs to get in the water and some of them even drowned. Not only homes were destroyed. People were trapped without knowing were to go with no escape plan and the only thing they could do was to stand and wait for their deaths.
I’m not saying what happens in California is not serious by all means. It is really serious. People being homeless and especially because of such tragic events is really bad and I don’t think others are sleeping on that. I see people boosting the signal, I see people raising money. The only difference with these two situations is that Greece’s government is crap and has never cared about making an escape plan, not even on time, but people in America actually have escaping plans so they don’t die in flames. But I do really under what you’re saying because my house is really close to one of the major fires.
Being homeless and being burnt alive are two really different, but still very serious happenings that fires cause.
So if any of my follwers are seeing this please boost the signal about fires in California too. Every single life matters.
No, actually, we don’t have escape plans ESPECIALLY when the flames are coming so fast. The Atlas Fire last year where my aunt nearly DIED getting out of her house, was bad. She had no time to grab anything and her car was partially melted because the flames were so hot and so close. People died because they were trapped. There were 80 MPH winds going and no one could stop it. Our fire departments were so understaffed that they literally could do nothing but watch. A couple hid in their fucking swimming pool because they were trapped and one of them didn’t survive. There are videos of Police officers literally dragging people out of their houses while flames are all around them. It was in the middle of the night that it happened and people had little to no time to escape. There is no evacuation plan for that.
The fire in Redding right now is just about the same. It’s 110 degrees every day and we have 0 humidity. Several CITIES are burning. Family up there might lose their damn houses, ones they built themselves.
Look, I’m not saying that Greece doesn’t deserve the attention, I just hate when people get guilt-trippy and especially when people push these things like ‘Oh well we reblogged the Net Neutrality thing, but you’re not reblogging anything for Greece.’ I absolutely hate it, it makes me not want to reblog shit. Meanwhile my ENTIRE STATE is on fire. No word on that 🙂
And yes, being burnt alive is worse than being homeless, but people have died in these fires in California. Two firefighters actually lost their lives in the Carr Fire trying to fight it. People have died in their homes because they couldn’t escape. Do not tell me that California only has to worry about homelessness because it doesn’t. I’ve never seen any posts about the Valley Fire, the Atlas Fire, the Thomas Fire in LA or anything about the Carr fire here. Ever.
My heart goes out to people in Greece, but understand that we have it bad here too and yet I see nothing. That’s what makes me salty.
Gosh, I live only two states away and I had no idea this was happening in California???
Are there any local organizations you’d recommend donating to?
I don’t know much about the other fires, I think most are okay in terms of homes, the Carr Fire is the biggest one right now with the most people displaced. Here’s some links where you can help the relief effort for Redding.
If there are others that people know about especially those outside of the Carr Fire you can of course reblog and add to this!
The only place I saw about the California fires was on Fox News my dad was watching.
I’m hearing about them but then again, I’m in California and it’s like every day hearing about a new one it’s horrifying
i live in California but am not there currently and had no idea???
Also like…they’re both tragedies there’s literally no reason to not boost support for Greece because people don’t know about Cali…
I’m Canadian, but I’ve been hearing about it for several days. I figured the US would be showing it on the news, and I apologize for that assumption. No one media outlet can cover every piece of news and I should’ve known better. That’s part of what social media is FOR. That said, I also fail to see the need to pit this as a ‘California vs Greece’ thing. That’s silly. Both deserve coverage.
